Ingredients
Scale
- 24 Mint Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla powder
- 2 cups whipped cream
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
- Additional Mint Oreo cookies for topping
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and prepare a 9-inch springform pan by greasing the bottom and sides lightly.
- Step 2: In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Mint Oreo cookies with the melted butter and mix until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared springform pan to form a crust.
- Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla bean paste, continuing to beat until well combined and free of lumps.
- Step 4: Gently fold in the whipped cream, mixing until just combined. If desired, fold in mini chocolate chips for added texture.
- Step 5: Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust in the springform pan, smoothing it out with a spatula. Bake in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes or until set but still slightly jiggly in the center. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for an additional hour.
- Step 6: Once cooled, refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight. Before serving, top with additional Mint Oreo cookies and enjoy your delicious cheesecake!
Notes
- For optimal freshness, store your Mint Oreo Cheesecake in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Reheating isn't necessary for cheesecake, but if desired, let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before serving to enhance its creamy texture.
- Serve your cheesecake with a dollop of whipped cream on top and a drizzle of chocolate sauce for an extra indulgent treat.
- For a smoother filling, ensure your cream cheese is fully softened before mixing, as this will help prevent lumps and create that perfect creamy consistency.
