Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
- 1/4 cup key lime juice
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon lime zest
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)
- Fresh lime slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Step 1: In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, key lime juice, honey or maple syrup, lime zest, and salt. Stir until well mixed and smooth.
- Step 2: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour the yogurt mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into an even layer using a spatula.
- Step 3: Sprinkle the crushed graham crackers evenly over the top of the yogurt layer. If desired, add shredded coconut for extra texture and flavor.
- Step 4: Place the baking sheet in the freezer and allow the yogurt bark to freeze for about 3-4 hours or until completely solid.
- Step 5: Once frozen, remove the bark from the freezer and break it into pieces. Garnish with fresh lime slices if desired, and serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the freezer for later enjoyment.
Notes
- For optimal freshness, store any leftover Key Lime Pie Yogurt Bark in an airtight container in the freezer, where it can last for up to a month.
- There's no need to reheat this treat; simply enjoy it straight from the freezer for a refreshing dessert or snack.
- Serve your yogurt bark with a sprinkle of extra crushed graham crackers on top or alongside fresh berries for added flavor and texture.
- For a vibrant twist, experiment with adding different citrus zests like orange or lemon to the yogurt mixture for a unique flavor profile while keeping the original key lime essence.
